2 Notes from the previous meeting & matters arising
Discussion over 1st Aid Course; An application form is attached to the agenda. The Course has been organised for Sunday 5 March, 09.30 – 16.30 at Stockport Art Gallery. It is hoped that the course can be filled by Stockport Hockey people, then Stockport people & finally opened up wider if needed.

4 One Year Action Plan
Progress against the action plan was noted:
1a Little progress due to no community coach however links between St Annes & HMJHC being developed. Promotional literature for RGLHC requested. 1b Progress at Peel Moat, Werneth & Bramhall. No progress at Marple 1c CFT Fundamentals course planned – VM to forward details 1d After school activity currently delivered at Werneth
2a Ongoing 2b No Action Required 2c To be addressed later in the meeting
3a On Track 3b On Track 3c On Track
4a Completed / first aid & junior leaders course resultant 4b On Track 4c On Track 4d No Action Yet – will follow young leaders course
5 Funding
Children’s Fund Local Area Network Fund & Awards for All applications discussed. 12-week turnaround discussed Further to the above agenda item, it was agreed that applications be submitted to pick up areas of the action plan still to be addressed. GR / VM / GW agreed to draft applications, as appropriate, and submitted on behalf of the group post circulation. Deadline for LANF end of January 2006
6 GMYG
The Group supported the initiative, now entitles a showcase. Trial & Training venues & dates to be agreed by interested clubs / coaches & fed through to GR / Don Hale by 30 January. An anticipated start date of the 1st week of March was discussed. VM to enquire if NOF ATP's meet FiH standards
7 Club / School Links
School club link agreement, produced via the School Sport Co-ordinators Network, circulated & discussed. Discussion over level of qualifications
8 PE, Sport & Physical Activity Forum
AG gave an update on progress of the above. Initial meetings looking at the common aims & objectives / purpose of the group. Networking opportunity. It is hoped that the group will lead to a Co-ordinated borough approach to Youth Sport, Physical Activity & PE
9 Hazel Grove ATP
Verbal report given. GW requested sight of FiH report & indicated his displeasure at the speed of progress in relation to the FiH testing.
10 AOB
BH informed the group of EH Roadshow - Timperley Hockey Club; 15th February @ 7.30 2012 Theme
AGM - Date requested / next meeting. LR standing down as treasurer
Mini Games - discussion over involvement in Mini Games of the Hockey Community to be held in Stockport (Marple Hall) in early July
