KB gave an introduction with regard to his involvement with Junior Hockey at Bramhall Hockey Club.
The Group gave a brief intro into their interest in Hockey
2 Notes from the previous meeting & matters arising
Returned Questionnaires circulated to the group
Goalkeeper Academy commenced. Goalkeepers from the Borough have been in attendance.
Bank Account Sorted
£20 per term is being charged at Werneth for Junior Hockey.
3 Junior League
3 sessions so far - U 11 / 13 & 15 age groups.
Teams are not turning up, even when they are registered.
League Handbook & Committee have been formed.
Each Borough takes it in turn to co-ordinate the day’s events.
Discussion over a late entry in the league for the younger age groups, pulling together the 3 providers in the borough.
4 Website
AG introduced the item. She was thanked for her efforts to date. AG requested that information be passed through to her to be up loaded.
A donation, to Reddish Green Ladies, has been requested to support the development of the website. £150 agreed.
5 One Year Action Plan
Commitment to the Junior League ( £100 ) Commitment to the Werneth Scheme ( £100) Commitment to the website - Cheque to Reddish Green Ladies Hockey Club for £150. Commitment to Club Accreditation & Courses. ( £150 ) GR to organise First Aid Course. BH to supply date to GR. Young Leaders Course discussed - could Stockport organise one? AG to progress issue with PM, looking to deliver in February half term. The Potential to access other funding was explored. 2 streams were identified. Individual members to look at application details & comment to GR before the next meeting.
6 Any Other Business
Discussion over Hazel Grove ATP – GW requested an update on the present situation with regard to Hockey.
